The 2009 Seagulls Fourball golf tournament starts Saturday and the golf gods have delivered us a present that we can hardly believe is possible.
Lets start with a little background. The Seagulls is a golf tournament held in April at Hyannisport Club on Cape Cod. It’s a grueling 5 round event held over 3 weeks where 112 team qualify for 7 flights and is the start of the tournament season. The course is a sea side links and we usually have horrific weather which we all fucken LOVE! Also it’s a real golf tournament with no strokes, no sand baggers and only a few ass holes. If you one of them you know who you are. If you don’t know who you are I will be happy to tell you Saturday. Best of all Mike Erdman is not in the tournament.
This year the powers that be have paired TBK and my partner Andy Drohen with my dad, otherwise known as the Concrete Silo and my Wee Bro in the same group for the qualifier. This should be a mind blowing experience. One for the ages.
You see my partner and I are going to fucken wipe them out. If we don’t we have to quit golf and pick up tennis. Do you know that means? There is running in tennis and my personal motto is I only run when I am being chased so we have to win.
